Delay for Primacom sale

The sale of German cablenet Primacom has reportedly been delay for another two months amid concerns that some buyers have been unable to put together substantive offers.

Deutsche Telekom, which had previously been linked with a bid for TeleColumbus, Pepcom and Liberty Global’s Unitymedia Kabel BW unit have all been linked with a potential bid.

Financial Times Deutschland reported Telekom had placed a bid of between €250 and €280 million.

PrimaCom, based in Leipzig, offers triple play services to more than 1 million households, mostly in eastern Germany.

Its owners are a consortium of former creditors that include Alcentra Group, Avenue Capital, ING Groep and Tennenbaum Capital.
