Italian free-to-air platform TivùSat has added another 55,316 registrations.
The figure means the RAI-Mediasat backed platform now has a total of 1,576,685 active cards.
The highest number of registrations in July were recorded in Sicily, Lombardy, Lazio and Calabria.
“The continued growth of TivùSat demonstrates that the free satellite platform answers the needs of consumers, which is in line with other European territories,” said Luca Balestrieri, president, TivùSat.
Some 55 TV channels and 40 radio stations are available on the platform, which is carried on the Hot Bird satellite system at 13 degrees East.
