Lovefilm has entered into a subscription video on demand (SVOD) agreement with the independent studio Miramax.
Under it, the Amazon-owned company’s subscribers in the IK and Germany will be given immediate streaming access to a number of Miramax titles through Lovefilm Instant.
The latter, which provides a huge range of films and TV shows, is available on the PC, Mac or Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox 360, Apple iPad and a growing number of internet-connected TV sets and Blu-ray players.
Lovefilm has over 2 million subscribers in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
