Belgacom delivers solid TV adds

Belgacom added a further 48,000 TV subscriptions in the second quarter taking its total TV base to 1,301,000.

In all the Belgian telco added a total of 35,000 new households and 13,000 so-called second stream users. It described its TV net adds as being “solid”.

The results were in line with the company’s full year guidance that saw revenues of €1,611 million, though EBITDA, down 4.7% at €434 million, was also in line with expectations.
