The German TV Spielfilm listings magazine from Burda publishing has launched a smart TV app.
This is the third smart TV app from a German TV listings magazine publisher. Springer Verlag already has its TV Digital app available, while Bauer Media has TV Movie.
All three apps from the listings magazines are free of charge and are funded by advertising. Burda’s app is not yet available on any smart TV, but negotiations are under way.
The Bauer TV Movie app can be seen on Philips NetTV, Loewe Medianet and Samsung smart TV sets, while the Springer’s TV Digital is available on auf Philips, Samsung, TechniSat, Inverto, smart, Vantage and VideoWeb.
