The leading Polish cable operator UPC Polska has added two new packages to its offer that establish HD as “the standard” for digital subscribers.
The first, known as Select Extra HD, consists of 102 channels, 16 of which are in the format.
The latter include four new sports channels (Eurosport HD, Eurosport 2 HD, Polsat Sport HD and Polsat Sport Extra HD), along with Discovery Showcase HD, National Geographic HD and Animal Planet HD.
The second package known as Max Extra HD, meanwhile gives access to 138 channels, including all those in the Super HD package.
UPC Polska has also added rebel:tv to its offer, with HBO 2 HD and HBO Comedy HD set to follow later this month.
