The Business of Multiscreen Television
The Polish DTH platform Cyfra+ is giving subscribers to some of its packages free internet access from the mobile company Play.
The news comes amid reports that Canal Plus Cyfrowy, the platform’s operator, had a net income of PLN1.434 billion (€333 million) in 2011, or 4.7% more than a year earlier.
However, its EBITDA fell by 20.4% over the same period to PLN199 million.
