Hungarian DTT platform to offer 3D sport

The Hungarian DTT platform MinDig TV will make the Euro 2012 final on July 1 available to its viewers in Budapest and environs in 3D and without a subscription fee.

Furthermore, during the Olympic Games in July and August its MinDig TV offer will be enlarged with a free-to-air (FTA) 3D test transmission.

The m3D channel operated by MTVNA will be available to viewers in Budapest and environs from June 25.

MinDig TV is a FTA service operated by the national transmission company Antenna Hungária and currently has over 300,000 viewers.

It has a sister pay-DTT service named MinDig TV Extra which had 63,000 subscribers as of last month and aims to double the total by March 2013.
