Around 1.7 million Cyfrowy Polsat subscribers, or almost half of its total, now have HD receivers.
They are used to watch a total of 28 HD channels, making Cyfrowy Polsat the leading DTH provider of services in the format in Poland.
The latest HD channels to join Cyfrowy Polsat’s line-up are the newly launched TVP1 HD and TVP2 HD, both of which are operated by the public broadcaster TVP.
Cyfrowy Polsat offers its 3.5 million-plus subscribers a total of over 90 channels, along with a range of services including PPV, VOD, catch-up, internet access and mobile telephony.
