Cohan becomes EVP at A+E Networks

A+E Networks has promoted Sean Cohan to executive vice president, international. The announcement was made by Abbe Raven, president and CEO, A+E Networks and Steve Ronson, EVP, Enterprises, to whom he will continue to report.

“Sean has played an integral role in the growth of A+E Networks around the world,” said Raven. “His leadership and vision has helped catapult our brands into global powerhouses now in more than 150 countries and 37 languages.”

Added Ronson; “Sean and his team delivered strong growth every year for the International division and put our brands in the number 1, number 2 or number 3 position in the factual category in virtually every territory around the world.”

Cohan oversees the international division of A+E Networks, managing the company’s brands, content, and services outside the US, and a staff based in New York, London and Singapore. The division’s activities include branded channels, content sales, and digital media distribution. Today, A+E Networks operates 54 branded international pay-TV channels and distributes a their extensive library across a range of platforms.

Cohan was formerly SVP, international.
