Modern Times Group (MTG) has launched its premium pay channel Viasat Motor in the Baltic region today (June 5).
Viasat Motor, which will broadcast in both SD and HD, will offer viewers a wide range of rights already made available for Viasat subscribers.
They include Formula1, Moto GP and Nascar, as well as a number of popular rights not previously broadcast in the region.
Viasat already distributes the proprietary sports channels Viasat Sport Baltic, Viasat Golf and Viasat Premier League HD in the Baltic Republics.
Viasat Motor SD will be available for Viasat Gold package subscribers in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, while Viasat Motor HD will be available to those subscribing to the Viasat HD package.
