German cable operator Primacom is launching its hybrid set-top box on June 30 with its new Premium package.
Customers will receive the connected STB, which offers access to HbbTV services as well as the maxdome VOD portal.
The Premium tier also offers over 100 SD channels and a total of 17 HD channels and 65 radio stations.
Thanks to the hybrid function, viewers can directly access catch-up TV services from ARD and ZDF as well as the 45,000 titles strong library of Maxdome. The interesting thing here is that Primacom is offering an OTT service as part of its own product.
The triple play offer also includes 32 Mbps broadband access and telephony for an introductory price of €19.99 a month (regular price €29.99). Higher speeds are available (64 Mbps and 128 Mbps).
The cable TV package retails at €23.99 a month, with a special price of €9.99 for the first three months.
