Magyar Telekom discusses strategy

BUDAPEST BUSINESS BREAKFAST. Magyar Telekom plans to launch multiscreen services this year.

Furthermore, according to Balazs Birck, head of department, innovation and product, Magyar Telekom, a third of its subscribers are receiving interactive services and all Hungarian homes that have an internet connection can now do so.

Asked about the telco’s cable strategy, he said that the it had stemmed its subscriber losses since 2010, when it began to offer IPTV via cable.
