Disney Junior is expected to make its debut as a full service in Romania on March 1.
According to Financiarul, it has until now been available in the form of a morning block on Disney Channel.
Disney Junior will target children aged 2-7, while the Disney Junior block will remain on Disney Channel, which is aimed at 8-14 year olds.
Both channels are part of The Walt Disney Company and are distributed in the Romanian market by Inner Consulting Group, with airtime sales being undertaken by Splendid Thematics.
However, in this instance Disney has dealt directly with RCS&RDS, which will initially carry Disney Junior.
