Canal+ Nordic has begun to reverse the decline in subscribers the premium channel suffered after the loss of Premier League rights in 2010.
Across the year C More/Canal+ made a loss as subscriber numbers fell year-on-year. However, subs recovered in the second half of the year and subscriber growth in late 2011 exceeded expectations following increased investment in programme content.
Norwegian top flight football, the Tippeligan, was added to the programme portfolio, while a new channel, Canal+ Family, was launched across the region.
C More Entertainment/Canal+ is owned by the TV4 Group (65%) and Telenor (35%).
