Netgem, the French set-top technology developer, is partnering with ATEME, KIT digital and Broadpeak in a bid to capture the connected TV market in Latin America.
The four partners are holding connected TV seminars at two events in Brazil next month.
Between them the partners are covering content processing and compression (ATEME), end-to-end video content management (KIT digital), delivering content to any screen (Broadpeak), and optimising and enhancing the user experience across devices (Netgem).
Yann Courqueux, CMO of Netgem, said: “We have brought together some of the broadcast industry’s most respected names to combine their best of breed and fully complimentary technologies to meet the specific needs of the Latin American pay-TV market. All are leaders in their particular fields and can draw on best practice from a broad range of international deployments. We are looking forward to introducing our joint solution to content owners and distributors in what is probably the most dynamic market in the world at the moment.”
The first event will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in Sao Paulo on March 5 and the second will take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Rio de Janeiro on March 7.
