The Russian cable operator ER Telecom doubled the number of subscribers that receive its telephony offer last year.
In a statement, the company says that it introduced telephony, as part of a triple play package, in 2006 and that services are currently available to 27 cities through the country.
Eleven cities were added to the list in 2011 and a further 12 are expected to be this year.
ER Telecom’s telephony service uses the brand name Dom.ru and now has over 250,000 clients.
