Samsung has announced a partnership with Fashion TV that brings the channel’s programming onto Samsung Smart TV.
Viewers can access live streams of fashion shows and photo shoots while also being able to access Fashion TV’s exclusive behind the scenes footage of models and designers.
“Samsung is the leading provider of Smart TVs across the world with numerous partnerships that bring rich content and exclusive features to viewers. This partnership with Fashion TV expands our offering into an entirely new genre and complements our focus on a wholly personalised viewing experience delivered on demand,” said Dan Saunders, director of content services for Samsung Electronics Europe.
“Fashion TV has, since its inception, been at the forefront of reporting on the fashion industry and we are very proud to welcome them onto our service.”
For a period of four months, the Fashion TV App will be exclusive to Samsung Smart TV. Advertising on the connected version of the TV channel will be organised by Smart Clip, a company specializing in video advertising.
“This partnership brings Fashion TV to a wider audience throughout Europe thanks to Samsung’s continued success in Smart TV. As more people seek out new ways of watching TV we are delighted to have worked with LiveDefinition who created this service to allow viewers and advertisers new ways to engage with our brand,” stated Alona Fischbein, Fashion TV director.
Fashion TV is available in English throughout Europe on the Samsung sets.
