The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska ended 2011 with over 1.5 million RGUs (Revenue Generating Units), or over 147,000 more than a year earlier.
Its digital TV (cable and IPTV) subscriber total stood at 195,000, compared to 141,700 a year earlier, while the number of internet subscribers grew by 37,000 in 2011 to over 400,000.
The operator’s telephony services were meanwhile received by 244,000 subscribers, or 8.4% more than a year earlier.
Triple and double play subscriber totals at the end of 2011 stood at 106,00 (+8.5% year-on-year) and 242,000 (+3.2% year-on-year) respectively, with the average number of services received per subscriber in Q4 2011 amounting to 2.06, compared to 1.94 a year earlier.
Multimedia Polska vies with Vectra for second spot in the Polish cable market, which is dominated by UPC Polska.
