Orange TV is adding a clutch of channels from the M6 group to its satellite offerings in France.
The channels are currently broadcast over the Astra (19 degrees East), Eutelsat Hot Bird (13 degrees East) and Atlantic Bird 3 (5 degrees West) satellites. They are already available to Orange’s IPTV customers and via broadband internet.
On Astra the new channels are the female-skewing Téva and movie channel Paris Première. Both are in HD and are joined by M6 Music Hits.
From Hot Bird, M6 itself and entertainment channel W9 will be available in HD and SD. W9 is also being added for Astra households from February 9.
In addition Paris Première and Téva Replay will launch in May, joining the M6 Replay and W9 Replay service.
M6 Boutique & Co, Best of shopping, Girondins TV channel, M6 Music Black and M6 Music Club will continue to be broadcast.
