The regional station TV Zak will be added to the Czech Republic’s third DTT multiplex MUX 3 on January 15.
MUX 3 is operated by the Czech Digital Group (CDG) and its current channel line-up consists of the national station Prima Love and regional broadcaster TV Metropol, as well as the radio station Proglas.
TV Zak, which has been in existence for 15 years and until recently shared a frequency with Prima TV, targets viewers in the West Bohemia region of the Czech Republic.
It will be on air for 24 hours daily, broadcasting a 30-minute loop that will be updated several times a day.
CDG has been owned by the Czech transmission company Radiokomunikace (CRa) since late 2010 and MUX 3 reaches 95% of the Czech population.
