UPC Nederland reached the milestone of 1 million digital TV customers at the end of 2011.
“We now have over 1 million digital homes out of our total of 1.8 million TV customers,” said Mark Giesbers, director of marketing at UPC Nederland.
“UPC also offers innovative features such as remote recording, where customers can access their PVR via a web browser, smartphone or tablet. This service is now used by over 100,000 customers. Television remains an important focal point for UPC. We are working hard on the launch of Project Horizon in 2012. That is the next step in TV area. With this we make a unique new way of watching TV possible.”
UPC Nederland launched digital TV in 2000 and introduced the interactive version at the end of 2005. The Project Horizon is the next phase in UPC’s digital rollout.
