Lattelecom is now the leading provider of pay-TV services in Latvia.
According to DB, the TeliaSonera-backed incumbent telco now has 250,000 subscribers to its DTT and IPTV services, while Baltcom and Izzi, the country’s two leading cable operators, have 140,000 and 120,000 respectively.
The DTH platform Viasat meanwhile provides services to around 70,000 subscribers.
Baltcom was the market leader prior to ASO in May/June 2010,
