The legal actions brought about by failed bidders in Ukraine’s DTT tender are to be considered in a single case by the Kiev Administrative Court.
According to ProIT, this follows a decision by a panel of judges in response to an application from the defendant, the National Council on Radio and Television.
The actions are by TVi, Info 24, TVi Kultura, Malyatko TV and TRK Era, and of these two – TVi and Malyatko TV – have so far not objected to the move.
Although the case in Kiev pertains to licence awards on four national DTT multiplexes, a separate case on regional DTT licences is also being heard in the court.
Cases against the national awards are meanwhile also being heard in Donetsk and Crimea.
