Egyptians to get satellite broadband
Eutelsat Communications has announced a six-year distribution agreement valued at €20 million between its Skylogic subsidiary and Egyptsat. The agreement enables Egyptsat to use the new-generation Tooway satellite service to provide broadband services to users beyond reach of terrestrial or wireless networks across Egypt.

Zon triple play starts to wane
Zon has said enthusiasm for its triple play packages is beginning to slow, though the Portuguese operator is still posting quarter-on-quarter increases, with 58.6% taking a TV, telephony and broadband package by the end of the first half of 2011.
