The Romanian DTH platform Focus Sat had revenues of €15 million last year, or more than double the €6.94 million it posted in 2009.
However, according to ZF, quoting data from the Ministry of Finance, its net losses over the same period rose from €4.6 million to €7.2 million.
Focus Sat is owned by Liberty Global and ended the second quarter with 242,000 subscribers, or 6,500 more than three months earlier.
It competes in a DTH market also served by RCS&RDS (Digi) and Romtelecom (Dolce and the former AKTA Satelit TV and Boom TV).
