The new Polish national entertainment-based channel TV6 will make its debut on May 30.
Satkurier reports that the service, which is owned by Polskie Media, will be distributed by the country’s second DTT multiplex and the DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat.
Polskie Media is majority owned by Telewizja Polsat and already operates the national station TV4, which is promoting TV6 as “Six on Four”.
Poland’s second DTT multiplex was launched in late 2010 and has been allocated to the four leading commercial broadcasters Polsat, TVN, TV Puls and TV4, each of which will be allowed to distribute two channels.
