The German online video portal Maxdome has signed a VOD rights agreement with Universal Music to offer more than 150 music videos. The contract includes concerts in a variety of music genres, including rock, pop and dance music.
The music events are available both individually, for upwards of €2.99, and as a subscription package. Effective immediately, Maxdome users can download appearances by Rihanna, Snow Patrol, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Nirvana, Eminem, Jimi Hendrix and many other exceptional artists from the Music section of maxdome.de.
Maxdome product management & program manager Markus Härtenstein said in a statement: “Cooperating with Universal Music now enables maxdome to offer more than 1,000 concerts. It’s important to us to offer our users a broad selection of entertainment programming. Music is a major part of that effort.”
Maxdome is a ProSiebenSat.1 Group company and offers a wide variety of feature films, series, comedy shows, sports, music and cartoons – a total of more than 35,000 titles. Videos can be downloaded from individually, for rental, with a purchase option, or by subscription. As with a DVD, the program can be viewed as often as desired.
