Satellite subscriptions to the Nova digital satellite platform reached a record 363,679 in 2010, an increase of 45,045 on the year.
Owners Forthnet said 100,000 customers had opted for a combined telecommunications and TV bundle, which had made a significant contribution to the group’s performance. The Group reported total revenues of €410m, with an adjusted EBITDA of €65.7m and an EBITDA margin of 16%.
Pay-TV revenues of €195,522,000 dipped slightly from the €200,339,000 recorded in 2009.
Subscribers to the Greek analogue platform fell by 15,466 to 16,362, while the digital platform in Cyprus lost 400 subs to end the year on 11,509.
Nova, which has attracted attention outside of Greece for its coverage of the English Premier League, has renewed the rights to the Greek Superleague through until 2014. It has also launched the first high definition service in Greece.
