The Dutch premium football channel Eredivisie Live has introduced online subscriptions and pay-per-view services. Monthly subscriptions cost €11.95.
As a special incentive, the channel is offering an introductory price of €9.95 for new subscribers who sign up before January 31.
Individual games can be bought as pay-per view for €6 and a five-game ticket costs €25.
The channel consists of up to four live simultaneous games covering the Dutch premier division Eredivisie, KNVB Beker, the second division Jupiler League, as well as UEFA Europa League and the FA Cup.
Arno de Jong, director media and marketing Eredivisie Live, said: “Football viewing via the internet is gaining rapidly in popularity. This is true in general but also for the live matches. With the introduction of online subscription Eredivisie meets the demands of football fans who want to watch their games online we live in a simple and accessible way. Important difference from our TV channel is the fact that the online subscription only shows the games themselves and is not a 24-hour TV channel.”
