The Slovenian incumbent telco Telekom Slovenije has announced that it expects to achieve its planned operating results for 2010 and a profit of €28 million for this year.
This follows the revaluation of its assets in Macedonia (ONE) and Kosovo (Ipko).
According to the telco, “tougher economic and market conditions have revealed that the targets regarding both companies’ operations were set too high at the time of acquisition and were not realised.” This resulted in the revaluation of both companies at a total of €190 million as of October 31, 2010 at group level.
“The Book value of the share after revaluation is €104, which is 21% above today’s market value of €86.”
Telekom Slovenije is still evaluating smaller investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania.
