The ANGA Cable Show has decided to increase the available net space by 15% in order to meet increased demand for floor space. Both levels of hall 10 will be used to comply with the numerous requests for increased booth sizes, and entrance areas of the new level 10.1 will obtain an attractive “boulevard”.
ANGA´s managing director Peter Charissé, said in a statement: “Demand for exhibition space has again significantly increased compared to 2010. We want to provide for this development with a measured increase in floor space. The spatial set-up will remain unchanged, it will actually be improved by the evenly allocated use of both levels of hall 10. Overall, routes will be even shorter. This measured increase allows us to provide for the growth requests of our long-time customers while retaining the compactness as especially valued by our exhibitors and visitors.”
ANGA Cable Show will take place May 3 – 5, 2011, again in Cologne. In 2010 there were 395 international exhibitors from 31 countries. 15,000 trade visitors signified another increase of 10% in comparison to 2009. 43 % were international visitors.
There will be a new programme structure on the first day of the congress which takes place alongside the exhibition. For the first time, the event will be kicked-off with a Broadband Summit, with a focus on telecommunications and broadband issues. It will be followed by a so-called Television Summit dealing with the current issues of the TV and media markets.
The complete congress programme will be published in February. There will be 8 English language events. Congress tickets for the complete strategy and technology programme (including the exhibition) cost 180 Euro each; tickets also covering the evening event ANGA Cable Night cost 240 Euro. The Technology Ticket which covers attendance of the technology panels and entrance to the exhibition costs 90 Euro. Entrance to the exhibition costs 20 Euro. All prices quoted include VAT. Online visitor registration for the exhibition and the congress has started.
