Viasat Broadcasting has announced the return of three Russian channels to its platform in the Baltic Republics.
As of January 3, 2011, local versions of the entertainment First Baltic Channel and Ren TV, as well as the interactive, music-based PMBK, will become available in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Another Russian channel – RTR Planeta – returned to the Viasat platform in the Baltic Republics in November.
The channels are distributed by the Baltic Media Alliance (BMA) and were withdrawn earlier this year following a dispute with Viasat over carriage fees.
