France 24 has announced that it has concluded a new distribution agreement with digital cable operator Türksat Teledünya, adding 200,000 households in Turkey. France 24’s French and English channels are now available across the Turkish territory.
With this new agreement France 24 is now available on all cable and satellite platforms in Turkey, a potential audience of more than 6 million households.
The broadcaster has also announced it has obtained a licence from the Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to distribute the channel throughout India The licence opens the door to distribution agreements with pay-TV platforms (Dish, Tata Airtel or Big) and Indian hotels.
