Tele 2 is on the verge of selling its cable interests in Lithuania.
According to VZ, the Swedish company, which employs the C Gates brand name, is in talks with a number of possible buyers including the incumbent telco TEO LT and cable operators Balticum and Init.
TEO LT, which is the leading provider of DTT and IPTV services in Lithuania, has confirmed its participation in the talks.
C Gates currently has around 35,000 subscribers in the capital, Vilnius.
The sale is being undertaken with the participation of Swedbank.
