The Total TV satellite platform in Bulgaria could shortly see a change in ownership.
Quoting local sources, Satkurier reports that the local entrepreneurs Ljubomir Pavlov and Rumen Artarski, who are behind the station TV 7, are looking to acquire Total TV within the next three months.
The Total TV operation in Bulgaria was formerly known as ITV Partner and taken over by Mid Europa Partners (MEP) last year. Claiming around 50,000 subscribers, it is one of three DTH platforms currently operating in the country, the others being Bulsatcom and Vivacom TV.
Only earlier this week MEP sold Total TV’s Croatian operation to BEWAG, the owner of B.net, Croatia’s leading cable operator.
