Hulu revenue will reach $240 million (€175 million) this year, up from $108 million in 2009, according to CEO Jason Kilar, as reported in Business Insider.
Kilar gave the figures while on stage at the recent NewTeeVee Live conference in San Francisco.
A few other stats Kilar dropped: there were 30 million Hulu users in the last month and 260 million “content streams” in the last month (full streams, not “chapters”).
More than 800 million ad streams were served in October from 352 advertising customers clients in the last 90 days, up from ten 36 months ago.
Hulu shows content from 235 partners, up from just two when Hulu started. The online video portal was launched in 2008. It is now the second-largest streaming video site behind Google’s YouTube in the US.
