The Slovak Telecom Office (TUSR) has granted the transmission company Towercom permission to undertake DVB-2 trials.
In a statement released by the regulator, the period during which these trials can take place is from August 20 until December 31 this year.
TUSR has also given Towercom permission to undertake DVB-H trials for an unspecified period.
The DVB-T2 trials will be undertaken from transmitters based in Zilina and Zástranie.
Towercom officially launched Slovakia’s DTT operation in December last year.
