The Czech cable operator RIO Media will begin distributing over 50 of its most watched TV channels via DTT from the end of this month.
According to the company, the channels will initially be made available in Olomouc and Prostejov, and subsequently 10 more cities in the Czech Republic.
RIO Media is one of the leading cable operators in the Czech Republic, having been formed from Antena 2H-B, CL-Net, FCA, Mattes AD and the metropolitan network in Olomouc in 2008. It currently claims to have 115,000 subscribers.
