Norwegian cable operator GET has implemented a customer care and billing option from Irdeto. The system will help manage GET’s triple play offer that includes VoIP, broadband internet and video.
GET’s entire 410,000-subscriber base was migrated to the Irdeto system in May.
“Irdeto’s new customer care and billing solution is an integral part of our strategy to retain and attract customers in an increasingly competitive market in Norway. It allows for flexibility and modularity enabling us to respond quickly to the demands of our customers both now and in the future,” said Kjell Hammer, vice president and chief information officer, GET.
Although Irdeto is also a conditional access provider, security continues to be provided by NDS.
