UKTV has said high definition versions of its Good Food and Eden channels will launch shortly on the Sky platform.
The first launch will be for Good Food HD on August 31, a simulcast that will run from 05.00 to 23.00 daily. Eden HD will launch in early October and broadcast from 09.00 to 03.00 daily.
Good Food serves up a mix of commissioned and acquired programming that includes Ronnie Corbett’s Supper Club (pictured), Good Chef Bad Chef and Jimmy’s Food Factory.
Rival Food Network launched its HD channel on May 1, but as yet it is not available in the UK market.
