The Polish pre-pay DTH platform TNK will launch a new HD offering on September 1 using receivers supplied by ADB.
The ADB-2850ST hybrid HD platform will allow consumers to view a range of FTA satellite and terrestrial channels, as well as have the option to buy premium content via a smart card and to access OTT services.
ADB has also delivered two advanced hybrid HD interactive satellite solutions to Slovak Telecom for the expansion of its DTH platform Magio Sat, which made its debut earlier this year.
Separately, ADB has announced results for H1 this year that show its revenues amounted to $141 million (€108.5 million), as opposed to $183 million in the same period in 2009. Gross profit stood at $49 million, or 34.7% of revenue, which was within the management’s long-term expectations and in the upper range for the industry.
ADB closed the period with a gross cash position of $75 million after repurchasing shares for $8.3 million.
