The Polish cable operator Inea has introduced a new Wimax internet access service. It can be tried out free of charge, when taken with fixed line telephony, for the first two months and up to six months for free depending on what package subscribers opt for.
Inea is a quad play company and currently covers over 200,000 households in western Poland. It has over 138,000 subscribers, of who over 50% receive its digital TV and internet services and over 20,000 telephony.
Its Wimax service is expected to reach 70% of homes by 2013.
