The Ukrainian broadcaster Inter Media Group has signed a long-term agreement with Spacecom under which its nine channels will be moved to the Amos-3 satellite (4 degrees West).
The channels in question are the flagship national service ITV, along with Inter+, Enter, Enter Film, NTN, K1, K2, Mega and MTV Ukraine.
Commenting on the deal, Anatoly Salnik of Inter Ukraine said: “AMOS provides us with extended and powerful coverage throughout the Ukraine, satisfying more of our needs and raising our ratings. AMOS’ service, operations and familiarity with
our market are distinct advantages for moving forward.”
David Pollack, Spacecom’s president and CEO, added: “The Ukraine is a prime market for AMOS and the addition of Inter enables us to reach every household in the country. Long-term relationships are essential to our business model, and this win-win agreement with Inter represents a long-term commitment benefiting the broadcaster, its customers and AMOS.”
