ANGA Cable 2010: Stand No. B18 A
The past few years have seen NDS gain a significant foothold in both the German cable and satellite markets. ANGA 2010 will see the technology company showcase some of the solutions that have been deployed at Kabel BW, Tele Columbus and Sky Deutschland.
New technologies will also be on show to demonstrate how operators can differentiate themselves in a competitive market. These include advanced Electronic Programme Guides and the OONA conceptual user interface (UI) that incorporates contextualised widgets, social interaction and search and recommendations whilst addresses the complexities of the connected environment.
NDS will also be exploring some of the issues around 3D TV, such as the display of the EPG and subtitling on stereoscopic 3D content. A demonstration of how 3D TV looks in the home will be available on the stand.
Finally, the importance of delivering all available content through a single source is demonstrated in Infinite, which brings together linear TV with internet video services, catch-up TV and on demand content.
