The Polish DTH platform n ended the first quarter with 724,000 subscribers, or 33% more than 12 months earlier.
Preliminary unaudited data published by its operator TVN – full results are due to be released on May 13 – also show that the number of customers receiving the pre-pay service TNK stood at 307,000 at the end of Q1, up 140% on a year earlier.
Revenues for the TVN Group as a whole in Q1 amounted to PLN548 million – €140.9 million (up 26% on Q1 2009), of which advertising accounted for PLN264 million (+2.5%) and online advertising PLN43 million (+37%).
EBITDA, on the other hand, slumped by 51% year-on-year to PLN98 million.
