Poland’s Platforma Mediowa Point Group (PMPG) has put back the launch of an entertainment-based channel named Machina TV.
Wirtualne Media reports that PMPG is currently engaged in talks with two possible partners, both of which have extensive experience in the TV industry, to operate the channel and these could take up to Q4 this year.
PMPG obtained a licence for Machina TV last September and was expected to launch the service on cable and DTH platforms in Poland either in Q4 2009 or Q1 this year.
Although Machina TV would mark PMPG’s entrance into the TV marketplace, it was also last year linked with the regional station TV Puls, previously backed by News Corp.
PMPG was established in 1997 and operates in the field of media and marketing communications.
