Poland set for 3D

Canal+ is preparing for what will be the first 3D transmission in Poland.

Satkurier reports that the company will hold a joint press conference with Eutelsat and LG Electronics tomorrow (March 31) at its headquarters in Warsaw to reveal full details of the transmission. It is expected to feature a football match in 3D.

Canal+ plans to eventually show matches from the Polish premier football league Ekstraklasa, for which it holds the rights, in 3D.
