The Czech/Slovak pre-pay DTH platform Skylink is likely to add up to six new channels, one of which will be in HD, to its offer this spring.
According to Parabola, they will probably be Cinemax, Retro Music TV, bebe tv, Fish and Hunting, Viasat Nature and HBO HD.
Interviewed by Parabola, TradeTec CEO Jaromir Glisnik was able to confirm the addition of all but Viasat Nature. He also confirmed that HBO2 could be added to its offer in the future.
Glisnik in addition said that HD channels were now a priority for Skylink and that it was too early to talk about 3D.
Furthermore, he insisted that UPC Direct’s move to one degree West was unlikely to affects its own plans.
