Spanish incumbent telecoms operator Telefonica has launched a new basic IPTV offer, called Imagenio Flexible, to better compete with cabler ONO’s basic tier Essential TV. The new IPTV offer is priced at €10 a month and offers 16 basic channels, 14 digital terrestrial channels, access to the VOD service Videoclub and the Imagenio promotion channel.
The basic tier of 16 air channels includes regional news and satellite channels and the option to choose thematic channels from one tier – Documentaries, Music, Sports, Movies, Series, Kids – for €5.
The €10 price includes a rental decoder. Various triple play offers are available, with broadband speeds up to 6 Mbps and 10 Mbps.
